A night in the Bedouin-style Stargazer Tent at Wittkielhof feels a little like something out of 1001 Nights.

The expansive parkland, with its mature trees, and the beautifully restored buildings of the former Angeliter three-sided farmstead provide the perfect backdrop for a special night in nature, just the two of you, out in the countryside.

Plenty of space for togetherness is the top priority here. Only one Stargazer Tent is rented out, with a Schlummerfass (sleeping barrel) available on the other side of the lake.

The stylish Stargazer Tent by Lotus Belle, with its signature bell-shaped design, offers up to 2 people a traditional camping feel combined with sustainable, understated comfort.

It is made from high-quality, weatherproof canvas and has a sealed floor.

With a ceiling height of 3 metres, you can easily stand upright inside. The highlight is the transparent roof, offering a 360-degree view of the sky. Curtains are built in. Two windows and zip-fastened door openings, along with outer blinds and insect screens, let in plenty of light and air. 

The simple vintage-style pallet bed (140 x 200) comes with a protective cover and bed linen. A covered duvet with pillow, plus towels, can be booked per person as an add-on. A large beanbag with matching pouffe is perfect for relaxed moments both indoors and out. Outside, under the trees, a table and chairs invite you to sit back and unwind. An eco-friendly dry toilet ensures sustainable sanitary comfort. The facilities are shared with guests staying in the Schlummerfass. Kappeln, just 5 km away, offers some lovely spots for breakfast.
